Budget Planning

Now that you have your resource plan you are ready to complete your project budget. The bulk of the work was figuring out the budget for your resources, so completing your budget is a snap.

Here is a link to a sample budget plan that I’ll use as a reference. If you’d like a soft copy, email your request to aaronhsmith@gmail.com.

Enter the budget for your resources, then any other costs that may be applicable to your project. I have included a number of considerations such as hardware, infrastructure resources, and services such as translation and training. You may have some expenses that I have not listed, such as if you have a project that includes lots of travel-related expenses such as hotels, meals, car rentals, etc.

Note that, in order to estimate hardware and infrastructure costs, you’ll need to have completed analysis of your security plans, architecture, infrastructure, and implementation.
